WHO IS TAUSILI?
Born and raised in Lā‘ie, Hawai‘i, the 6’3”, 235-pound edge rusher carved his path through Texas and Skyridge High School, where he became one of the nation’s most sought-after recruits. A four-star prospect ranked No. 1 overall in Utah and among the top defensive players in the country, Tausili capped his senior year with 70 tackles, 14.5 sacks, and a 6A Player of the Year award — all while leading his team to a state championship. His play earned him spots in the 2023 All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl, and offers from powerhouse programs nationwide.
After seeing the field in nine games at Texas, Tausili brought his relentless motor and island pride to BYU Football, ready to make an impact and build a legacy worthy of his name.
